Stop-choc acheives ISO 14001 and AS9100 REV C certification
The Environmental Management System in operation at Stop-choc is now accredited to ISO 14001. All employees of Stop-choc recognise their duty of care with respect to the environment. It is the declared policy of Stop-choc Ltd to minimise the effect of its operations on the environment, details of which are set out in the Environmental Policy.

In addition Stop-choc have recently been approved to the requirements of AS9100 Revision C. The quality of Stop-choc products results from the commitment and contribution of all functions within the company.

Stop-choc at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics and AutoAero Exhibition
Stop-choc will be exhibiting at the upcoming Southern Manufacturing & Electronics and AutoAero Exhibition, taking place on the 15th and 16th of February 2012, at FIVE in Farnborough.

Stop-choc to exhibit at DSEi - 13-16 September 2011
Stop-choc Ltd will be exhibiting at DSEi in ExCeL London in September. Visit our stand and meet with our friendly technical sales engineers.

Paris Airshow at Le Bourget - 20th June 2011

Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) 19th - 25th July 2010
Stop-choc Limited exhibited at the 47th Farnborough International Airshow last month, under our group name of Hutchinson Aerospace. This proved to be an extremely successful show, with over 228,000 visitors attending over the course of the show. We were one of the 1455 exhibitors from 40 different countries

Facilities

Stop-choc operates from a modern 3000 sq metre facility in Slough, close to London Heathrow airport and the major motorway links of the M4, M40 and M25.

Our facilities include a fully functional design office equipped with Inventor 3D CAD and Ansys finite element stations allowing us to perform all the necessary design and drafting functions.


 

This is backed up a full suite of vibration six degree of freedom analysis software and vibration & shock analysis programs to ensure we can offer our customers the most suitable solutions to their vibration and shock protection requirements.

Stop-choc also has its own internal test facility which includes magnetic and hydraulic shakers for vibration and shock testing, environmental chambers and static test facilities for load deflection testing. We also have dark rooms equipped with a full range of specialist light and wavelength measurement equipment for use in the development and inspection of our illuminated aircraft cockpit panels and displays.





The production facility is split into specialist cells each equipped and laid out to optimise manufacture and quality:

Moulding shop with a dedicated work flow area, a range of moulding presses and temperature controlled material stores. Assembly area with specialist equipment to optimise assembly and quality. Avionics racking production facility with highly trained technicians and specialist machinery essential for production of this complex product. Machine shop equipped with modern CNC machining centres and engraving equipment. Paint shop segregated and controlled for optimum quality. Screen printing department used in the production of our illuminated aircraft cockpit panels. Fully segregated and ESD protected electronics assembly area. Stop-choc logistics department includes two loading bays, and extensive stores system and goods inwards and despatch facilities.
