Hutchinson Stop-choc exhibited at Advanced Engineering in NEC Birmingham, on the 1st & 2nd of November 2017.

We displayed our full range of products including advanced vibration and shock protection systems, light weight racking for military vehicles & aircraft applications and illuminated display and control panels for aircraft cockpits, military vehicles, naval applications and simulators.

Stop-choc achieves EASA 145 Certification for Repair and Overhaul
We are pleased to announce that we have now received EASA 145 certification for repair and overhaul.

We have an excellent modern repair facility on site with ESD protected electronic assembly and repair stations, light measurement and balancing, machining, painting, printing, laser engraving, inspection and test all under one roof.

Hutchinson Stop-choc at DSEI 2017
Hutchinson Stop-choc will be exhibiting at DSEI (ExCeL, London) in September. We hope to see many of you there. Our team of highly experienced technical sales engineers will be there to meet you.

Stop-choc at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics - Feb 2016

Stop-choc achieves ISO 14001 and AS9100 REV C certification
The Environmental Management System in operation at Stop-choc is now accredited to ISO 14001. All employees of Stop-choc recognise their duty of care with respect to the environment. It is the declared policy of Stop-choc Ltd to minimise the effect of its operations on the environment, details of which are set out in the Environmental Policy.

Quality Policy

The objective of the Quality Management System of Stop-choc Limited is to provide products and services in a
manner which conform to the contractual requirements of its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory
authorities.

The quality of Stop-choc Ltd products results from the commitment and contribution of all functions within the
company. The Quality Manual describes the policies and procedures employed by Stop-choc Ltd to achieve this
commitment.

The Quality Policy is based on three fundamental principles:-

1. Ensuring that we identify and conform to the needs of our customers and applicable statutory and regulatory
authorities.
2. Reviewing every aspect and function within the company, identifying the potentialfor errors and taking the
necessary action to eliminate them.
3. All employees understand how to do their job and doing it right first time
The processes and procedures within the Quality Manual are mandatory and identify the policies and
responsibilities applicable to the whole company and provide a framework for establishing and reviewing the
effectiveness of the Quality Management System and Company's objectives.

A responsibility for quality therefore rests with each and every employee to understand, achieve and continually
improve the performance required by our quality standards, these totally satisfy the needs of our delivery, fitness
for purpose, cost and customer response.

The Quality Policy is communicated within the Company and together with the Quality Management System is
reviewed for continuing suitability during audit and management review.

The Quality Management System of Stop-choc Ltd complies with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2015 and
AS9100 revision D together with those of our principal Aerospace Customers.

Hutchinson Stop-choc holds numerous approvals for a diverse range of products and applications supplied to the leading engineering firms across the globe.






















Company Environmental Policy

Stop-choc Ltd is a manufacturer of Anti-Vibration Mounts, Illuminated Control Panels and Avionic Racking, using a number of processes which could have an environmental impact.

We are aware of the effect such operations may have on the environment and are committed to minimising any such impact by means of a process of continual improvement.

It is part of the Environmental Policy of Stop-choc Ltd to provide a framework for both setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets. To this end we will:-

  • Comply with all relative legislation, industry regulations and Codes of Practice.
  • Conserve natural resources and set objectives and targets to reduce the consumption of these resources.
  • Show a commitment to prevent the risk of pollution and harmful emissions which our activities/products may impact on the environment.
  • Reduce waste through the promotion of the re-use of recycled materials.
  • Increase staff environmental awareness through training.
  • Communicate the policy to all personnel and members of the public.
  • Include environmental considerations in investment decisions.
  • Work with our suppliers and sub-contractors to reduce the impact their products/shipments may have on the environment.
  • Conserve resources by operating efficiently and seek to reduce energy and water consumption.
  • Minimise potential environmental impacts and pollution by reducing adverse causes such as the storage and disposal of hazardous substances or waste.
  • Minimise any visual, noise and other impacts on our surrounding environment through good housekeeping practices.
  • Regularly review our performance to ensure we are meeting our environmental objectives and targets.
