Stop-choc acheives ISO 14001 and AS9100 REV C certification
The Environmental Management System in operation at Stop-choc is now accredited to ISO 14001. All employees of Stop-choc recognise their duty of care with respect to the environment. It is the declared policy of Stop-choc Ltd to minimise the effect of its operations on the environment, details of which are set out in the Environmental Policy.

In addition Stop-choc have recently been approved to the requirements of AS9100 Revision C. The quality of Stop-choc products results from the commitment and contribution of all functions within the company.
Stop-choc at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics and AutoAero Exhibition
Stop-choc will be exhibiting at the upcoming Southern Manufacturing & Electronics and AutoAero Exhibition, taking place on the 15th and 16th of February 2012, at FIVE in Farnborough.

Stop-choc to exhibit at DSEi - 13-16 September 2011
Stop-choc Ltd will be exhibiting at DSEi in ExCeL London in September. Visit our stand and meet with our friendly technical sales engineers.

Stop-choc will be showing their full range of products including advanced vibration and shock protection systems, light weight racking for military vehicles & aircraft applications and illuminated display and control panels for aircraft cockpits, military vehicles, naval applications and simulators. Also on display will be the EDAK range of light weight aluminium transit cases for which Stop-choc are the UK sole distributor.

Paris Airshow at Le Bourget - 20th June 2011
Stop-choc Limited is currently exhibiting at the Paris Airshow this week, under our group name of Hutchinson Aerospace.

Our technical sales engineers are on hand to discuss vibration isolation in every type of application and situation. Our stand displays a range of products and competencies that Stop-choc Ltd and our group companies can offer.
Stop-choc launches new website
Stop-choc have launched a new website featuring our extensive range of vibration isolation and illuminated control panels in a clean, contemporary design.
Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) 19th - 25th July 2010
Stop-choc Limited exhibited at the 47th Farnborough International Airshow last month, under our group name of Hutchinson Aerospace. This proved to be an extremely successful show, with over 228,000 visitors attending over the course of the show. We were one of the 1455 exhibitors from 40 different countries

Quality Policy

The objective of the Quality Management System at Stop-choc Limited is to provide products and services in a manner which conforms to the contractual requirements of both our Customers and the applicable regulatory authorities.

The quality of Stop-choc products results from the commitment and contribution of all functions within the company. The policies and procedures employed by the company to achieve this commitment are set out in the Quality Manual.

Company Environmental Policy

Stop-choc Ltd is a manufacturer of Anti-Vibration Mounts, Illuminated Control Panels and Avionic Racking, using a number of processes which could have an environmental impact.

We are aware of the effect such operations may have on the environment and are committed to minimising any such impact by means of a process of continual improvement.

It is part of the Environmental Policy of Stop-choc Ltd to provide a framework for both setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets. To this end we will:-

  • Comply with all relative legislation, industry regulations and Codes of Practice.
  • Conserve natural resources and set objectives and targets to reduce the consumption of these resources.
  • Show a commitment to prevent the risk of pollution and harmful emissions which our activities/products may impact on the environment.
  • Reduce waste through the promotion of the re-use of recycled materials.
  • Increase staff environmental awareness through training.
  • Communicate the policy to all personnel and members of the public.
  • Include environmental considerations in investment decisions.
  • Work with our suppliers and sub-contractors to reduce the impact their products/shipments may have on the environment.
  • Conserve resources by operating efficiently and seek to reduce energy and water consumption.
  • Minimise potential environmental impacts and pollution by reducing adverse causes such as the storage and disposal of hazardous substances or waste.
  • Minimise any visual, noise and other impacts on our surrounding environment through good housekeeping practices.
  • Regularly review our performance to ensure we are meeting our environmental objectives and targets.
